| Watch the adventures of Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the gang in the two TOY STORY movies in this special DVD set, featuring outtakes, the bonus shorts "Tin Toy" and "Luxo Jr.," and lots of special treats.||TOY STORY|The delightful TOY STORY provides the answer to the a kid's most important question: What happens when you leave toys alone in a room? Well, it seems that they come to life!| Young Andy's playthings, including the sardonic Mr. Potatohead, a Slinky Dog with a southern drawl, an anxiety-ridden dinosaur, and some very gung-ho toy soldiers, are led by Woody, a pull-string cowboy doll whom Andy adores. But on his birthday, Andy receives a self-possessed, gadget-laden spaceman action figure named Buzz Lightyear, who quickly becomes Andy's favorite. Soon the overlooked Woody becomes very jealous.| But when a turn of events leave Buzz and Woody lost in the "outside world," they have to get along in order to find their way home. And they'd better do it quickly, because the lad and his family are moving tomorrow! However their trek is interrupted by Sid, Andy's cruel, malicious neighbor--who loves to destroy toys...||TOY STORY 2|In this dazzling sequel to the 1995 blockbuster, Andy heads off to summer camp, leaving the toys behind to fend for themselves. In much the same way Buzz discovered he is a mass-produced product in the first installment, Woody discovers that he is a valuable collectible spawned by a popular 1950's kiddie-puppet TV show, "Woody's Roundup Gang," when he is kidnapped by an evil toy collector, Al McWhiggin. Through Al, who plans to sell him to a Japanese toy museum, Woody is reunited with the toy versions of his TV cohorts--plucky cowgirl Jessie (Cusack), prospector Stinky Pete (Grammer) and trusty horse Bullseye. Woody must choose between seeing Andy grow up and forsake him and living a sterile but eternal life behind glass being admired--but not played with. Meanwhile, the rest of the original toy troupe undergoes a thrilling crosstown adventure to locate their kidnapped friend and restore him his rightful owner. |
